Since 2015, CRA audits have identified over $1 billion dollars in additional gross taxes related to GST/HST and Income tax through audits related to residential real estate development sales. The session will focus on CRA TAX AUDIT and Real Property.
Keynote Speaker: Julia Ghazi, LL.B., LL.M (TAX Lawyer, Manager – Indirect Tax at EY Law LLP)
Julia is a tax associate of EY Law LLP and is a member of the Tax Law Services group. Her practice focuses primarily on indirect tax, providing both advisory and tax controversy services. Prior to joining EY Law LLP, Julia practiced real estate law and business law at a Bay Street firm in Toronto.
